Packers’ Matt LaFleur unwilling to say anything negative about Ben Johnson ahead of Bears game

We have one of the most exciting NFL games of the season coming up in Week 5, as the Chicago Bears take on the Green Bay Packers in Green Bay.

This is one of the more important games of the year as well, as Green Bay and Chicago are both playoff teams with a chance to win the NFC North.

Both teams have played decently to start the season, though Chicago has certainly been much better. The Packers haven't been bad by any means, but aren't playing up to standards.

Given this is arguably the biggest rivalry in all of sports, there's plenty more to talk about than just a game.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur understands that, especially given his history with Bears head coach Ben Johnson, but he doesn't want to make it anything more than just another Packers-on-the-road game.

“Because this game is about players, and so we'll keep it about the players. You know I'm not the one out there they're playing, so I think that's always been my mentality, and we're going to keep it about those guys,” LaFleur said, per Rob Demovsky.

This is a bigger game for LaFleur and the Packers than it is for Chicago. The Bears will be without Caleb Williams, and while the Packers are dealing with some injuries, none are as important as their star quarterback.
