By RJ Morgan The Wright High School boys golf team has steadily improved since satarting the season the second week of August. A month later – the second week of September – that same group proved that it will be a juggernaut at State this week after winning the Wright Invitational September 11-12 at Haycreek Golf Course to end the regular season.

The Panthers are solidifying as a team by scoring in a tighter pack. The three athletes in the middle of the WHS leader board finished within 16 strokes of each other.

Wright was the best team after two days of golf as it pinned daily team totals of 349 and 373 for a first-place score of 373. The Campbell County talents beat out Big Horn by 11 strokes at 384 (374-384).
