Pat McAfee reveals if Taylor Swift is a real football fan after watching Chiefs’ NFL opener together

Taylor Swift supported her husband Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs during Week 1 of the NFL.
Kansas City Chiefs fans had a phenomenal opening-week contest as they registered a solid 31-10 win over the Denver Broncos.
After all, they finally witnessed the dynamic duo of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce on the field for the first time since the star QB’s knee injury.
In addition, the fans were treated to a view of Kelce’s wife and global icon, Taylor Swift, supporting the team from the crowd.
Swift was captured showing extreme emotion during the game, which led to die-hard fans of the game question whether she truly knows football or if it was a show for the camera.
Well, Pat McAfee, who watched the game with Swift, answered this question for the Chiefs nation.
“I got a chance to chit-chat with Miss Taylor Swift last night. Huge day… I’ll tell you, I was dripping in sweat. Hey, she’s all in. She is. Every snap we’re talking about, it was. Gumby, that was the most into it suite we’ve ever been in,” McAfee said.
He added, “… I know she had an Eagles jersey on whenever she was young, when she sang the national anthem, but she’s been so busy with her career, I don’t know how much she was into football.”

McAfee had a big day as well, as he made his official debut on Monday Night Countdown, but the ESPN analyst was more in awe of Swift being such a huge football fan.
So, there you have it: Swift wasn’t posing for the camera. Instead, she’s heavily invested in football and particularly the Chiefs, as her husband plays for them.
