Retired AFL star Adam Treloar marries netball partner Kim Ravaillion on the Gold Coast

Weddings, parties and engagements ... the AFL’s season of love is firing on all cylinders with several stars moving quickly to get the party started.

The recently retired Adam Treloar headed to the Gold Coast where he married his long-time partner and netball champion Kim Ravaillion at the picturesque Bower Estate.

Treloar was in tears when Ravaillion, the mother of his child, walked down aisle, but later he could not stop smiling as the power couple danced into the night.

Brisbane co-captain Josh Dunkley (Treloar’s former teammate at the Western Bulldogs) was one of the groomsmen, while Kahlia Howe, the wife of veteran Collingwood defender, Jeremy Howe, was among the bridal party, as was netball star Macy Gardner.

“Best day ever,’’ Ravaillion said.

Treloar, 33, retired at the end of this season after battling several soft-tissue injuries.

He played 263 games over 15 seasons but managed just nine games in the past two years.

Meanwhile, several Geelong players headed to Tuscany, Italy to celebrate the breathtaking wedding of Brad Close and Grace Ballinger.

The couple were officially married in Melbourne five weeks ago but waited for the end of the season to have their dream Italian wedding.

Geelong stars Tom Stewart, Mark Blicavs and Gryan Miers were among those who were there.

Over in Amsterdam, veteran Hawthorn champ Jack Gunston and his long-term partner Dani Shreeve quietly got engaged.

Shreeve announced the news on Instagram, simply holding up a glass of wine with a spectacular ring very visible on her finger.

She called the photo carousel “the Amsterdam files”, while a restrained Gunston looked like he was bursting with happiness (in that low-key Jack way).

In Adelaide, GWS Giants players flocked to Mandalay House and Garden (in the Adelaide Hills) for the wedding of Isaac Cumming and his long-term partner, Mia.

Toby Greene, Tim Taranto, Jesse Hogan, Rory Lobb and Toby Bedford were among the players to celebrate with their former teammate.

Their gorgeous baby daughter, Elsie, featured heavily in their photos.
