Salahdine Parnasse returns to training just days after vicious KO in UFC Paris main event

Salahdine Parnasse has taken no time off after scoring a massive debut victory in the UFC on Saturday.
Former KSW champion Parnasse was placed in the main event of UFC Paris, and repaid the promotion’s faith with a massive knockout of Dan Hooker. He took limited damage on the night and wants to return quickly after already impressing on MVP MMA’s Netflix show in May.
Parnasse has gone to Spain after his win, and appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show on Uncrowned today. The host noted that prior to booking the interview, he was told he would have to be scheduled in alongside training, which is rare after such a high-profile fight.
UFC Paris had all sorts of highlight reel moments, but the biggest story of the night was the debut of Salahdine Parnasse. He has long been one of Europe’s most famous stars outside of the UFC, and is now on his way to big league glory.
He landed himself in the media rankings’ top ten with his knockout of Dan Hooker, who is a respected veteran of the division. Most fighters would spend the following week celebrating or enjoying time away from camp, but he seems to be already in the gym.
Parnasse told Ariel Helwani that he wants to fight Max Holloway within this year, and is already back in the gym preparing for his next challenge. “I always want to train,” he said via a translator. “I have no damage from the fight Saturday night.
“Right now we are in Madrid and we just got out from the gym and then we had the interview. I always want to train… I’m born to fight.”
