Shedeur Sanders’ latest move comes as Browns trade speculation intensifies

Shedeur Sanders has returned to social media with a rare Instagram post as speculation continues over his future with the Cleveland Browns ahead of the NFL trade deadline.
The second-year quarterback shared a post featuring the song “Chamber of Reflection” by Mac DeMarco, but did not include a written message.
Sanders has struggled for opportunities this season, attempting just one pass as Deshaun Watson leads Cleveland to a 5-2 record.
Despite the growing speculation, Cleveland reportedly has no plans to trade Sanders or fellow quarterback Dillon Gabriel.
According to cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot, the Browns are not actively shopping either player and would need an offer they could not refuse to reconsider their position.
However, Sanders’ limited playing time has continued to fuel questions about whether a move elsewhere could offer him a clearer path to becoming a starter.
ESPN’s Evan Cohen recently urged the Indianapolis Colts to pursue Sanders, arguing that he would struggle to find opportunities in Cleveland.
Speaking on “UNSPORTSMANLIKE”, Cohen said: “Shedeur Sanders should be the starting quarterback of the Colts. He’s not going to play in Cleveland anytime soon.”
The Browns’ quarterback situation has also become more complicated following Gabriel’s return from injured reserve after a back injury suffered during the pre-season.

Sanders remains second on Cleveland’s unofficial depth chart, but head coach Todd Monken has not committed to the game-day order following Gabriel’s return.
When asked about the situation, Monken said: “I haven’t gotten there yet.”
Meanwhile, Watson strengthened his position as Cleveland’s starter with a 308-yard passing performance and a rushing touchdown in the 27-24 win over Tennessee.
The quarterback also recorded his first 300-yard passing game with the Browns, making a change at the top of the depth chart less likely in the immediate future.
Sanders started seven games as a rookie, throwing for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. His opportunities have been far more limited this season.
With the trade deadline approaching, Sanders’ social media activity has added another talking point to his uncertain situation, although his latest post does not confirm any plans to leave Cleveland.
