Simplilearn Named PMI South Asia ATP of the Year: Why It Matters for Your PMP Prep | Simplilearn

Preparing for the PMP® exam takes commitment, especially when you’re balancing study sessions with project deadlines. Choosing a training partner that offers relevant learning, instructor support, and structured practice can make that journey easier.

This October, PMI® named Simplilearn South Asia Authorized Training Partner (ATP) of the Year at the PMI® South Asia ATP Meet in Bengaluru. The recognition celebrates our contribution to project management learning and certification across the region.

The reason is simple: 7 out of 10 PMP® -certified professionals in South Asia trained with Simplilearn.

If you bought a prep book last year or borrowed notes from a colleague who passed in 2025, that material was written for a different exam. And if you pick a training provider without checking its PMI® status, your hours may not count at all.

Two PMP® changes in 2026: where you train now matters

Before you enroll anywhere, check two things: that the course is built for PMBOK® 8, and that the provider is listed in PMI® ’s ATP directory.

Simplilearn checks both boxes: The course is built for PMBOK® 8, and Simplilearn is the largest PMI Authorized Training Partner, at the Premier level, so your live hours count.

The course is designed around the new exam from day one, with live classes and enough practice to walk into the exam ready.

AI is now part of the PMP® exam, so GenAI training is built into the course, not bolted on.

Awards are one signal. What learners say is another, and PMI® collects that directly.

PMI® lists 96 Authorized Training Partners in India. After finishing a course, learners can fill in an optional survey on PMI®’s site. Sort the directory by the number of completed surveys, high to low, and Simplilearn sits at the top with 1,345. The next partner has 648. That’s more than twice as many learners choosing to speak up without being asked.

Simplilearn’s PMP® at a glance

Preparing for the PMP® in 2026 starts with one decision: where you train. The right choice means you study for the exam you’ll actually sit and log hours that count toward your eligibility. The wrong one can cost you both.

Simplilearn has been teaching PMP® for fifteen years, and this year PMI® named it South Asia’s ATP of the Year. The course is built for the new exam, and your live hours count. If you’re ready to start, pick your batch and enroll in Simplilearn’s PMP® certification training.
