SPS Racing Set for NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Debut at Bristol

MOORESVILLE, N.C. - SPS Racing will take the next step in its growth as an organization when it makes its NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series debut Sept. 18 at Bristol Motor Speedway with rising prospect Landon S. Huffman behind the wheel of the No. 43 Chevrolet.
The Bristol appearance marks the first of a planned three-race program to close the 2026 season. The team also will compete at Phoenix Raceway and Talladega Superspeedway in October.
Huffman, a 19-year-old standout from Connelly Springs, North Carolina, has earned the opportunity through a steady climb up the stock car racing ladder. Despite lacking full-time sponsorship backing throughout much of his career, Huffman has built a reputation as one of short-track racing’s emerging talents.
The son of former driver and crew chief Shane Huffman, he amassed 164 karting victories and 21 championships before transitioning to late model competition. Since then, he has collected NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series wins, impressed in CARS Tour competition and posted strong ARCA Menards Series performances, including a runner-up finish at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and a third-place result at Chicagoland Speedway this season.
“I’m extremely humbled and thankful for the opportunity SPS Racing is providing me,” Huffman said. “This is without a doubt a dream come true.”
Texas-based Lindamood Demolition will serve as the primary sponsor for the Bristol effort, marking the company’s first NASCAR partnership.
The debut is another milestone for SPS Racing, which was founded by owner Joe Farré in 2023. After establishing itself in the ARCA Menards Series West, ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East, the organization is now expanding into NASCAR’s national ranks.
The team already has a winning pedigree. In 2024, Sam Mayer delivered SPS Racing’s first pole position and first victory at Sonoma Raceway.
“We are proud to bring SPS Racing to the national level and compete in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series,” Farré said. “It will be fun to watch the Lindamood Chevy on the high banks of Bristol with Landon.”
Following Bristol, Connor Mosack will pilot the No. 43 Chevrolet in races at Phoenix Raceway on Oct. 17 and Talladega Superspeedway on Oct. 24 as SPS concludes its inaugural three-race NASCAR schedule.
The Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway is scheduled for Sept. 18 with live coverage on The CW, the Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM.
