Streamer calls out Alex Pereira to his face and gets put in his place: ‘You’re gonna get hurt’

A streamer’s attempt to try and get at Alex Pereira led to him immediately backtracking.
Pereira has admitted that he’ll likely never get to box despite saying just last year that he was definitely going to make this move at some stage.
The UFC star has been spending time around the sport this week due to him cornering his coach, Plinio Cruz, for his Misfits Boxing debut.
This process has also brought ‘Poatan’ into contact with a lot of new people, including some who want to capitalize on his name and reputation.

Alex Pereira will turn his attention to his UFC 335 return after being in his coach’s corner for a boxing match later today.
‘Poatan’ already has a fight booked, but that didn’t stop a streamer from trying to pitch the idea of him facing off with the Brazilian.
During the Misfits Boxing press conference, the streamer was filming Pereira from afar, claiming that he would “kill him” if they fought, with the clip being posted by Happy Punch on X.
The person even approached the former UFC champion to say that they should fight inside the Octagon after checking that his friend was filming the interaction.
Pereira’s coach, Plinio Cruz, waved the streamer off before two other people got involved and completely shut the conversation down.
The man was told to “go play somewhere else” and that he’s “gonna get hurt for no reason”, with him clarifying that he was just joking.
After moving away from Pereira, the streamer said that the fighter was “scared” because he wouldn’t even stand up.
This streamer trying to get a reaction from Alex Pereira is far from the first time that we’ve seen an interaction like this take place.
UFC referee Marc Goddard chimed in on the video via X, expressing his disgust for “disrespect disguised as a prank”.
He warned that “these kids” will keep up stunts like this until it leads to a fighter physically putting someone in their place.
