The National Hockey League will drop the puck on another season on Tuesday, Sept. 29, which means that all 32 franchises will be rocking and rolling for a full home schedule of 42 regular-season games. These teams follow the direction of the league’s Game Presentation & Entertainment department, and for major tentpole events like the Winter Classic, NHL Stadium Series, and NHL Global Series, they replicate the gameday atmosphere in some of the most unique venues in sports. At the head of this team is Group Vice President, Game Presentation & Entertainment, John Bochiaro.
On the latest episode of SVG GameDay, Bochiaro highlights the finer details of producing games in the United States and abroad, how lessons learned from the NHL Bubble in 2020 still live on six years later, how the league captured lightning in the bottle with the 4 Nations Face-Off, how the league works closely with all 32 clubs, and much more.
