‘The next A’ja’ – WNBA fans think Angel Reese is playing at ‘an NBA level’ after Game 2 heroics

Angel Reese helped the Atlanta Dream beat the New York Liberty to win Game 2 of their playoff series, taking one step closer to the WNBA Finals.

Reese had one of her best performances for the Dream in Game 2, allowing them to defeat an in-form Liberty team in overtime.

Her performance was a statement, reminding the league and fans that she is one of the best players in the WNBA.

During the Atlanta Dream’s Game 2 playoff win against the New York Liberty, Angel Reese delivered an all-time great performance.

Reese was excellent on both ends of the court, managing to stop Liberty players of all sizes on the defensive end while making shots she normally doesn’t, thus impressing many fans.

Many fans were very impressed with the level of commitment and offensive confidence Reese showed during the game, especially with her shooting efficiency.

One fan noted, “She’s on one this season! Got the haters quiet!”

Another fan added, “A Reese ring before Caitlin Clark is going to have the timeline in shambles!”

“Angel has ridiculous hands and timing. Bigs are NOT supposed to be able to disrupt a point guard’s dribble like that,” wrote a fourth fan complimenting Reese’s defence.

A fifth fan paid Reese a huge compliment, calling her the “only WNBA player who can play at an NBA level.”

And lastly, one fan commented that the recent criticism inspired her performance, noting, “All that hate got her activated.”

Reese had a standout performance, scoring 23 points while shooting 50% from the field and from deep, grabbing seven rebounds, dishing out two dimes, making two steals and blocking one shot.

It was an excellent two-way performance from the former LSU standout, who is showing exactly why the Atlanta Dream traded for her earlier this year.
