Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua prediction is made by world champion who ‘definitely’ wants to face winner

The upcoming mega-fight between British superstars Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua sparked a telling reaction from one current world heavyweight champion.
Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are now set to face one another in their all-British showdown at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 11 in Wales.
The long-awaited encounter was touted for over a decade, but Fury and Joshua have accused one another of being the main reason that the fight never took place.
However, the Fury and Joshua fight was confirmed on Thursday and WBO champion Daniel Dubois was asked for his prediction for how the huge clash will play out.
Netflix has announced that the UFC CEO will co-promote the monumental event in Cardiff – but Eddie Hearn insists that is not happening.
Daniel Dubois became world heavyweight champion again after his sensational TKO victory over Fabio Wardley in the 11th round at the Co-op Live in Manchester.
The 29-year-old Brit captured the WBO championship in May and Daniel Dubois will make his first title defense in a rematch against Fabio Wardley next month.
Speaking in the build-up to his fight with Wardley, Dubois was indifferent about who would come on top in the showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
“Yeah, I’m sick of hearing about it,” he told the DAZN Boxing YouTube channel.
“Sick of hearing about it. Let’s see them in the ring now. Let’s see them in the ring.”
Dubois added: “Let them knock each other out, man [laughter]. They’re getting paid enough for that. But, yeah, may the best man win.”
Dubois already crossed paths with Joshua after he put the IBF heavyweight title on the line in 2024 and he sealed a stunning fifth-round KO win at Wembley in London.
‘Triple D’ was asked if a rematch with ‘AJ’ or a boxing encounter with Fury interested him and Dubois left the door open for his two fellow Brits in the future.
When asked if he would face the winner if a fight was offered to him, Dubois said: “Yeah, definitely. Definitely.”
Dubois and Fabio Wardley will face one another for the WBO title in their second boxing encounter at The O2 Arena in London on 17th October.
