The UFC is returning to Edmonton this weekend and we’ve got the necessary details.
Mike Malott retired Gilbert Burns to secure the biggest win of his career to date in front of his Canadian fans earlier this year.
The welterweight contender will now have the opportunity to achieve a similar feat when the Octagon heads to Rogers Place on October 17.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the card headlined by Malott facing Joaquin Buckley over five rounds.
October 17 being the Octagon’s fourth visit to Edmonton means that fans in attendance should know what to expect from this weekend’s card.
One thing that will be new is the slightly earlier start time, which has been seen across all the promotion’s events in 2026, as seen below.
UFC Edmonton being a Fight Night card means that even fans outside of the United States won’t need to pay extra for this event.
Paramount+ has become the one-stop subscription for US fans, though this isn’t the case across the board, with the UFC broadcasting on different platforms all around the world.
Be sure to check who holds the broadcast rights to MMA’s leading promotion in your region ahead of Saturday night.
For example, viewers in the UK will need a TNT Sports subscription to watch the main card, which is now available via HBO Max.
Unsurprisingly, UFC Edmonton is largely filled with fighters that will be proudly representing Canada.
The welterweight main event is joined by the likes of a significant women’s flyweight clash, with Erin Blanchfield and Jasmine Jasudavicius facing off one week after Natalia Silva was crowned champion.
