Female UFC fighter, Angela Hill, struggled to contain herself during a situation involving an official during the weigh-in for one of her more recent fights.
Hill, 41, paused before stepping onto the scales to remove some inserts from her bra, to stop them interfering with her weight. She then proceeded to hand them to the official before taking her position on the scales.
The weight official, however, seemed to struggle to deal with the inserts as he fumbled about trying to work out what to do with them.
In a comedic moment, he awkwardly placed them onto the scales in a motion that caused one of them to go flying out of view of the camera.
The veteran fighter couldn't contain herself and a combination of humour and embarrassment spread across her face, before her head dropped into her hands.
Ahead of her bout with Lucindo, Hill gained a lot of fans for the way she dealt with the situation. She made light of the awkward moment and shot a cheeky smile to the camera before taking the one remaining insert and leaving the stage.
Her new fans have had their say online regarding the funny matter, with one saying: "She handled that with as much class as could be possible in that situation. I am now a big fan."
Another said: "She was dope for doing that, scored points with me on personality."
Unfortunately, Hill was unable to give her new legion of fans a happy ending as she fell to a unanimous decision defeat to her opponent on the 9th of August last year. The defeat left Hill with an 18-15 record in MMA, but she has since fought a further two times, losing one and winning one, taking her professional record to 19 wins and 16 losses.
Before the fight in August of last year, Lucindo said it was "crazy" to fight Hill, as she was almost the same age as her mother.
"It is crazy. I won’t lie to you, it is very crazy. It’s something that makes me go like, ‘My God, she’s almost my mother’s age.’ My mother is 43. But I respect Angela a lot. Before I was in the UFC, before I was fighting, she was already fighting, she was already building her story."
Angela Hill is one of the pioneers of the women's division in the UFC, and has had a long career in the organisation.
"I’ve watched Angela fight many times before I was in the UFC, and I know the athlete she is and the story she has built. I’m very happy," Lucindo continued, before going on to say: "Imagine watching someone, and then you’re fighting her. That’s a great accomplishment."
