UFC Halloween results: Biggest winners, losers from ‘Moicano vs. Nolan’ last night

UFC Vegas 123 went down last night (Sat., Oct. 31, 2026), proving to be an action-packed event on Paramount+. In the main event of the evening, Tom Nolan smashed his way to a victory, knocking out Renato Moicano in the third round (see it here). In the co-main event, Jacobe Smith defeated Randy Brown via face-smashing unanimous decision.
Nolan secured the biggest win of his UFC career, disposing of Moicano in impressive (and violent) fashion, giving him his sixth straight win inside the Octagon. Every fighter thrives for that signature win that gets him or her over the hump, and this could be one of those for Nolan, who is currently ranked No. 11 at Lightweight. But, he will be cracking the Top 10 after defeating the No. 8-seeded fighter at 155 pounds. All things are looking up for The Aussie, who locked down a hefty post-fight bonus for his performance, too.
Erosa ended his combat career in impressive fashion, knocking out Jeong Yeong Lee in the first round. What makes the win even more impressive is that Erosa was seemingly on his own way to getting finished early in the fight. Fortunately, he survived the near finishes and managed to get one of his own just moments later, helping him secure some bonus pay in the final fight of his career. That is not a bad way to pull down the curtains on his UFC run that lasted eight years.
Prior to his main event fight against Nolan, Moicano was unafraid to discuss future plans, which did not guarantee fighting for UFC, revealing that he wouldn’t mind testing free agency. The problem was that he still has/had three fights left on his deal when making those comments (he’s now down to two fights), meaning that he inadvertently put pressure on himself to perform. Unfortunately, he was unable to do that after he was starched by the Aussie-born striker, dropping him to 1-3 in his last four fights. That’s not exactly a record (or run) that other promoters are looking for when looking to lock down new talent. Indeed, the loss will hurt Moicano when it comes to potentially getting the “Money” he wants moving forward … inside or outside the Octagon. His stock definitely took a hit, which means he will have to work extra hard moving forward if he wants to have options once he finishes his UFC contract.
As for Gall, he came in as our fighter who needed a win the most after dropping his last four fights. Unfortunately for him, they went from bad to worse after he was out-classed by Zachary Reese for 15 minutes, giving him his fifth straight win. That horrid losing streak will put Gall on the chopping block, and there is no telling if the promotion wants to keep him around or take the opportunity to cut him to free up space on its bloated roster because, let’s face it, he has not looked good for a few years now.
