What channel is Japan v Wales WXV Global Series rugby 2026 1st match on? Kick-off time, TV details and live stream

Wales kick off their two-match tour of Japan at Prince Chichibu Memorial Stadium in Tokyo on Saturday.

The first window of WXV Global Series fixtures gave Sean Lynn’s side plenty of reasons for optimism. The Welsh snapped their nine-match losing streak with an eight-try victory over South Africa and showed their grit in a narrow defeat to USA.

Now the new 12-team tournament sees them travel to Japan for a series that should be well balanced and hard-fought – with the pair separated by just one place on the world rankings.

Wales came out on top when the pair last met two years ago but winning away from home is never easy and their newfound confidence is still a little fragile.

Radio Times has rounded up everything you need to know about how to watch Japan v Wales on TV and online.

Japan v Wales will take place on Saturday 24 October 2026.

Japan v Wales will kick off at 10:30am.
