What channel is Texans vs. Bills on today? Live stream, time, TV schedule to watch NFL Week 1 game

Although the NFL season is just beginning, Week 1 features a crucial matchup between two AFC contenders.

The Texans and Bills are set to kick-off the season against each other on Sunday less than a year after each of them lost in the AFC divisional round. Both Houston and Buffalo are no strangers to deep playoff runs, having made the divisional round in each of the least three years, but have yet break through to the Super Bowl.

Josh Allen begins the season as arguably the NFL's best quarterback, as the 2024 MVP once again put up impressive numbers last year. However, Allen has historically had issues with the Texans defense, which is a ferocious group that gives even the elite players trouble.

For C.J. Stroud, meanwhile, the fourth-year quarterback struggled mightily in the playoffs this year and now faces a crucial 2026 season ahead of contract talks.
