Third-seeded Coco Gauff continues the chase for her first Grand Slam tournament win of the season and her second career U.S. Open title with a Thursday night semifinal against No. 2 seed Elena Rybakina. The match is scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. ET with TV coverage on ESPN and streaming on-demand.
Gauff is in the semifinals for the second straight major tournament of the season and looking for her first finals bid of the year, which comes at the site of her first career Grand Slam win in 2023. The 22-year-old overcame a first-set loss and was pushed to the brink in the second set of a quarterfinal win over No. 5 seed Mirra Andreeva (2-6, 7-6, 6-2) to reach the semis. Gauff also comes off her first win of the ‘26 season at the Cincinnati Open after falling to Rybakina at the National Bank Open in her previous competition.
