Where to watch Liverpool vs. Atletico Madrid live stream, TV channel, start time for Champions League match

The 2026-27 Champions League continues this week with a highly-anticipated matchup between the Premier League's Liverpool and La Liga's Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

Liverpool has started off its Premier League campaign with a couple of 2-2 draws against both Newcastle and Nottingham Forest. The Reds finally snagged their first win of the Andoni Iraola era on Friday, with a 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town. Hosting at Anfield should offer a unique advantage for the club.

Up until last weekend, Atletico Madrid had gone unbeaten through three fixtures and added seven points to the table. Los Rojiblancos ultimately fell to Athletic Bilbao in a disappointing 3-0 loss that raised red flags surrounding head coach Diego Simeone, who's side has conceded six second-half goals already this season.

Atletico will head to Liverpool looking to claim their first-ever Champions League group stage win over an English team.
