Who Won Alexander Volkanovski vs. Movsar Evloev fight? UFC 333 Main Event Result

Alexander Volkanovski retained his UFC featherweight championship with a second-round TKO victory over Movsar Evloev at UFC 333 on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Petr Yan also defended his bantamweight title, defeating Merab Dvalishvili by unanimous decision in the co-main event. The main card featured five fights, with Aaron Pico and Lone’er Kavanagh also earning victories before the final bell.

Volkanovski and Yan emerged as the winners of the two championship bouts at UFC 333. The Australian stopped Evloev at 4:54 of the second round, while Yan earned three identical 48-47 scorecards against Dvalishvili. Here are the results from all five main-card fights.

Alexander Volkanovski defeated Movsar Evloev via TKO at 4:54 of the second round to retain the UFC featherweight championship. The Australian landed a damaging combination featuring an uppercut, a left hook and a right hand that broke through Evloev’s defense. Follow-up ground strikes prompted referee Marc Goddard to stop the contest with six seconds remaining in the round.

Evloev entered the fight undefeated and attempted to establish his wrestling early. He completed three takedowns from seven attempts in the opening round but recorded just 31 seconds of control time. Volkanovski’s takedown defense and sharp counterstriking limited the Russian contender’s effectiveness and created openings for the decisive exchanges.

The victory improved Volkanovski’s professional record to 29-4 and marked his ninth win in UFC featherweight title fights, moving him past José Aldo’s previous divisional record. Evloev suffered the first loss of his professional career and fell to 20-1.

Petr Yan defeated Merab Dvalishvili by unanimous decision to retain the UFC bantamweight championship. All three judges scored the five-round contest 48-47 in favor of the Russian fighter.

The result gave Yan a successful title defense in the co-main event of UFC 333. Dvalishvili, who entered the contest seeking the championship, was unable to leave Abu Dhabi with the belt.

The main card featured two title fights and three additional matchups across the flyweight, heavyweight and featherweight divisions.
