Why is ESPN fantasy football app not working? Managers frustrated over technical issue

There's nothing worse than when an NFL game is on and the app you use for your fantasy football league isn't working.

Well, that appears to be the case with the ESPN fantasy football app on Wednesday night during the Week 1 game between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots.

Users on social media are reporting an outage and can't follow their scores on the ESPN fantasy football app.

Users who are trying to open their ESPN fantasy football app simply aren't able to, as they're stuck in a never-ending loading screen.

We've personally checked on the issue and can confirm it isn't opening for us, either.

"Can someone work on making the ESPN fantasy app not take the equivalent speed of dial-up to open? Thanks!" one user wrote.

"Anyone else having issues opening ESPN fantasy app?" another user asked.

We're still waiting on word from ESPN about what's happening.

We'll update this page once we have more information.
