Women’s Asia Cup: India To Take On Arch-Rivals Pakistan In Final Group A Clash Today

Dubai, Sept 5: India will face arch-rivals Pakistan tonight in the final Group A clash of the T20 Women’s Asia Cup at the Dubai International Stadium. The high-voltage encounter, scheduled to begin at 8 PM IST, comes with both teams’ eyeing momentum ahead of the semi-finals.

India have already sealed their place in the last four after convincing wins over Thailand and Hong Kong. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will look to maintain its unbeaten run and finish the group stage with a perfect record, reinforcing its dominance in the tournament.

Pakistan, meanwhile, enter the contest with two points from their opening win against Thailand. With two matches left — including tonight’s clash against India and a final group game against Hong Kong — the team needs just one more point to secure a semi-final berth.

The fixture adds another chapter to the storied India–Pakistan rivalry, with both sides expected to bring intensity and flair to the Dubai pitch. For India, the focus will be on consistency in batting and sharpness in bowling, while Pakistan will aim to build on their opening victory and test India’s depth. Also Read: India to Host Inaugural 2027 Women’s Champions Trophy
