WTA US Open Third Round Best Bets Including Jasmine Paolini vs Sorana-Mihaela Cirstea

The second round continues at the 2026 US Open. The Billie Jean King USTA National Tennis Center is the site of a tournament where Coco Gauff is the player most Americans view as the favorite to win it all, but is the rest of the world equally convinced? The bigger reality is that three different players have won Major titles this year in women’s tennis, and the odds are good that we will see a fourth separate player win in New York. We are all waiting to see which women’s tennis stars will rise to the occasion over the next two weeks. So much is on the line in this tournament: the World No. 1 ranking, the last Major title of the year, spots in the top five, the race to the WTA Finals being held in Indian Wells this fall, and a lot more. Three different players have won Major titles this year, and neither of them is Aryna Sabalenka or Coco Gauff. Both desperately want to win a big title in 2026, and this is their last chance. Other players such as Naomi Osaka, who haven’t played in a Major final in quite some time, are hoping to get back to a championship level of play. The early rounds of the US Open will not tell us who will win the tournament, but they can eliminate some big-name players if they aren’t careful. We will see who avoids the big upset and who falls into the trap. LWOS has our best bets for three matches. Post your best bets and thoughts in the comments.
