Gloucester’s Dewi Lake in full flow with two tries in emphatic win at Exeter

Exeter 24-45 Gloucester Ben Loader also scores two tries in bonus-point win Gloucester are determined to make significant progress up the Prem table this season and here was a hugely promising first step. The Cherry and Whites had a bonus point on the board before half-time on a breezy afternoon in Devon and had more than enough in the tank to defend a 14-point interval lead and secure a morale-boosting first-day away victory. Considering they claimed just one league win on the road in the whole of the 2025-26 campaign this seven-try fusillade was a major plus, spearheaded by their new Welsh reinforcements, Dewi Lake and Jac Morgan. Lake was the player of the match by some distance, scoring two tries and adding significantly to Gloucester’s efforts in the set pieces and the maul. Continue reading...

Zoe Harrison rescues Red Roses with thrilling last-gasp try against New Zealand

WXV: England 26-19 New Zealand Interception score arrives with clock in the red If anyone thought a noise at Twickenham would not reach the decibel levels of the full-time whistle of the Rugby World Cup final last year then they were firmly wrong. How the news of ForBets works

Where the stories come from, how your feed is made and how to get an alert, with the terms of the news pages.

The stories are collected from the news sources of the sports we cover, and each one says where it comes from. For some of them only the opening and a link to the original are shown: the full text is read on the site of the publisher, who owns it.

News has three tabs. Your feed shows the stories of the sports you follow, Discover shows every sport, and Saved holds the stories you kept to read later. You can search by headline or topic, narrow the list to one sport, and mark everything as read.

Yes. In your account, under Sports & alerts, choose the sports you follow and how you want to hear about each one: in the app, by push or by email. The bell in the header collects the new stories of your sports and the new picks of the analysts you follow.

News is for reading and does not recommend bets. For picks, open the list of matches and compare the analysts by their records. The two are kept apart on purpose: a story is a report, and a pick is an opinion that its author answers for.
