Don't miss the October baseball action of the Championship Series

We are officially down to MLB’s final four, and the road to the World Series is about to get even more exciting. The NLCS gets things started on Sunday, Oct. 11, as the Milwaukee Brewers face the Los Angeles Dodgers in a rematch of last year’s pennant series. The Dodgers swept the Brew Crew last year en route to its second-straight championship. They are now chasing an incredible third straight World Series title. Then, on Monday, Oct. 12, the ALCS gets underway with the Tampa Bay Rays taking on the Cleveland Guardians, who completed a dramatic comeback from a 2-0 ALDS deficit to the White Sox. Four teams, two best-of-seven series, and just eight wins separating somebody from a championship parade — there is nothing like October. The games will be broadcast on Fox, FS1, TBS, and truTV. If you are looking for a live TV streaming service to watch both series, The Streamable’s expert recommendation is to go with subscription to DIRECTV, which comes with a five-day free trial. Fox One and HBO Max will also stream individual series.
Start streaming DIRECTV & save up to $30 off your 1st mo. of service! Learn how.
Right now, DIRECTV is offering a fantastic deal on its MySports Genre Pack that sets it apart from other streamers. This package has 20+ top sports channels, including local broadcast channels and national networks like FS1 and TBS, plus access to ESPN Unlimited.
Normally $65 per month, the package is now discounted to $45 per month for a new subscriber’s first six months of service. Plus, new customers also get a free month of the MySports Extra add-on pack when they sign up, which includes NFL RedZone and other great channels, as well as a subscription to ESPN Unlimited. Enjoy a five-day free trial when you first sign up, and watch the 2026 MLB Championship Round and much more at a low price with a MySports subscription from DIRECTV.
There are a number of live TV streaming services that offer free trials and carry the channels needed to watch the 2026 MLB Championship Round. In addition to the aforementioned DIRECTV, Hulu + Live TV comes with a three-day free trial for all new customers, and YouTube TV has a trial that can last between two and 21 days, depending on factors like what time of month you subscribe.
Since the 2026 MLB Championship Round will be broadcast by Fox, FS1, TBS, and truTV, viewers will be able to stream it on DIRECTV, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV in select markets, and YouTube TV. Sling only carries Fox in a limited number of markets in its Blue plan, which also carries FS1 and TBS, and starts at $46 per month. Fubo does not carry TBS or truTV, and thus is not an ideal choice for watching the Championship Round.
While you can only get one league’s games with each, there are two other streamers to consider. Fox One will carry all of the National League Championship Series, since those games will air on Fox, FS1, and Fox Deportes. The streamer starts at $20 per month, with bundle options available. The streamer is home to livestreams from all of Fox’s linear channels, and is currently offering a three-day trial.
For the American League Series, HBO Max will stream all of the games, since they will be available on both TBS and truTV. However, only the streamer’s ad-free plans come with the Bleacher Report Sports Add-On. Those plans start at $18.49 per month, but include the full HBO Max library in addition to all of the TNT Sports programming.
If you’ll be away from home and can’t watch the 2026 MLB Championship Round as you normally would, you can still catch all of the action no matter where you are in the world with a VPN. A VPN is a safe and secure way to stay protected online while streaming your favorite sports, movies, and shows on the go. Keep in mind that you will still need to be subscribed to a live TV streaming service like DIRECTV in order to stream the show with a VPN.
