Enes Kanter says he’s ‘officially invited’ Donald Trump to his first WNBA game in 2027

Former NBA player Enes Kanter now says he has invited US President Donald Trump to attend his first WNBA game next year.
Kanter began to make headlines earlier in 2026 when he said that he was declaring for the next WNBA draft.
He has continued to speak about the league in the months since, with one of his latest tweets outlining his invitation to Trump.
From the source Taking to X/Twitter, Kanter stated: “After a great conversation with President @realDonaldTrump, I officially invited him to my first @WNBA game in 2027.
“Also, @NBA Hall of Famer @dennisrodman has agreed to coach me this offseason and get me ready for the #WNBA season. Can’t wait to become the greatest female @WNBA player of all time. Rules Are Rules!”
The 2026 WNBA season is coming to a close, with the playoffs now well underway and heading to the second round before the Finals kick off on October 17.
There will then be an offseason before the league returns in 2027, and the draft gets underway.
At present, an exact date for the next draft has not been provided, but it is expected to begin at some point in April of next year.
