Festive bonus as Beaverbrooks The Jeweller rewards store staff for their dedication

A Fylde-based jewellery retailer is giving staff the gift of time with loved ones this Christmas, announcing it will not open its doors on Boxing Day.

Beaverbrooks, whose head office in St Annes and whose store locations around the country include Church Street, Blackpool, will continue the brand’s 107-year, longstanding tradition of giving store colleagues an extra day off to spend time with loved ones.

It’s a thank you for their dedication and hard work throughout the year - and in addition, the retailer will continue its tradition of gifting colleagues an extra week’s salary in December to also show its appreciation.

Beaverbrooks have always championed a people-first culture and were recognised as the Number 1 Best Retailer to Work For in the UK at the Best Companies Awards 2025 and placed 22nd in Best Companies to Work For in the UK.

Previous honours include Employer of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards 2026, and Professional Jeweller Awards 2026.
