Alex Call, the right fielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, has called out Major League Baseball for seemingly allowing "soft p*rn ads" between games. On October 13, a netizen, @Tay_Murph, tagged MLB on X and claimed that kids reportedly watch less baseball due to the alleged provocative nature of some ads.

In the tweet, the X user pointed out Megan Fox's Ro Sparks advertisement, where she promoted the erectile dysfunction medication, and Sydney Sweeney's viral Novig ad. The netizen asked MLB to show baseball in a way that lets people leave the game on around their children.

On October 14, Dodgers player Alex Call reposted the tweet and supported it. He claimed that ads like Megan Fox and Sydney Sweeney's are "soft p*rn" and said that parents reportedly worry about it.

They allegedly cannot "justify" to children why "half-naked" women are on the screen. The Los Angeles Dodgers player also claimed that television networks like TBS, NBC, and Fox seemingly should refrain from airing such ads.

"Can we please get the soft p*rn ads off playoff broadcasts, TBS, Fox, NBC, @MLB? My son wants to watch baseball with Dada, but how do I justify that when a half-naked woman could come on screen anytime?? This is America’s Pastime. Parents shouldn’t have to worry about this," the baseball player tweeted.

Alex's tweet calling out the alleged provocative ads featuring Megan Fox and Sydney Sweeney went viral on X. It garnered more than 16,000 likes. However, as of the time of writing, Major League Baseball, Sydney Sweeney, and Megan Fox have not responded.

A few hours after the Los Angeles Dodgers player's remark on X, Alex appeared in the National League Championship Series, as per The New York Post. On Wednesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers played against each other in game 3.

The news outlet reported that while Alex Call did not play in the game, when he was introduced at Dodger Stadium, several fans cheered loudly and even got up from their seats.

On the other hand, X users also praised the right fielder's viral tweet regarding the ads and claimed that they also want to watch "family-friendly" ads. Baseball fans said they feel embarrassed watching the commercial around their elderly parents and young children.

"Yes! I have 3 teen/young adult boys and a pre-teen at home who watch baseball. Keep it family-friendly! Even if they weren’t watching, I don’t want to see that!" one netizen wrote.

"It shouldn’t be embarrassing watching baseball with your elderly Mom. MLB needs to do better," another netizen added.

"I have literally stopped watching the playoffs and don’t let my kid watch since last Saturday when I saw that disgusting Sydney Sweeney commercial. He loves baseball but this isn’t it. @MLB," another internet user commented.

In other news, neither Novig nor Ro Sparks has released a statement about Alex's tweet regarding their ads. Stay tuned for more updates on the Los Angeles Dodgers as well as Alex Call.
