Milwaukee Swept The Two-Time Champs, And Nobody in Baseball Is Ready For It

The mighty Dodgers fell, big time. After being swept by the Brewers in the NLCS, Milwaukee is officially the newest World Series favorite, rocking the whole damn league.

Can you believe it? The Dodgers were trying to be the first three-peat champions since those Yankees teams of ’98, ’99, and 2000. But nope, Milwaukee shut that down hard. They won Game 1 of the NLCS and then proceeded to sweep L.A. in three straight games. That’s a huge statement against the two-time defending champions! The Brew Crew, who haven’t sniffed a World Series win since 1982 when they lost to the Cardinals in seven games (and were an American League team back then!), are now looking for their first-ever MLB title. Talk about a glow-up.

So, with that insane sweep, DraftKings Sportsbook has the Brewers as the runaway favorites at -175. That’s a massive swing! The Guardians are sitting at +330, and the Rays at +500. This team isn’t just a flash in the pan either, they already beat both Tampa Bay and Cleveland 2-1 in their regular-season series. They’ve definitely got the chops to back up these odds.

The Brew Crew heads into this year’s championship series as the favorite, and they’ve locked up home-field advantage. Can they finish the job and hoist that trophy for the first time in franchise history? You bet baseball fans across the country will be glued to their screens for this one.
