NFL Week 7 Best Bets

I won’t waste time mincing words. Week Six was brutal, going 1-4 on what overall was just a weird week across the NFL. I desperately need a bounce back, for my own pride at this point. So this week I’m pulling out all the stops to ensure a winning week. All that aside lets get into the picks

The Rams have been a mess to start this season out. Very far off from the superteam moniker they had after the stellar offseason they had. But at 2-4, the Rams need a win in the worst way possible. One player who has been doing their job is Kyren Williams, and I expect him to be a vocal point of this offense if they expect to win.

Davante Adams is done for the year. And aside from Puka Nacua, who is injury-prone, this receiver room is rather weak. Pair that with Matthew Stafford being off to a slow start, and suddenly running the ball sounds like a really good option.

Kyren has been great this year both on the ground and out of the backfield. So long as Blake Corum doesn’t come in a steal carries, Williams shouldn’t have a difficult time reaching this total.

Our anytime TD takes us back to a receiver, this time Christian Watson with the Green Bay Packers. The guy has been a touchdown machine this year with six already and showing no signs of slowing down.

The matchup is also why I like this. The Lions defense has gotten better and healthier as of late, but it’s still a unit struggling overall, especially in the secondary. The Packers offense has also looked better lately, and this game is a perfect chance to get it into rhythm.

Jordan Love is throwing the ball downfield, creating those big play opportunities for Watson. He has also been more of a threat in the red zone, making this a safer pick in my eyes.

With how good the Chiefs have been running the ball, I know this bet is a scary one. But walk with me here for a bit. The Seahawks, despite their struggles, still have a great run defense. They will certainly use it to limit Kenneth Walker in his revenge game against Seattle.

All of that should create some great passing opportunities for Patrick Mahomes, especially in the red zone. Travis Kelce has been good and can be a true touchdown target again, while Xavier Worthy should give Mahomes all the talent he needs on the outside.

The Chiefs haven’t really asked Mahomes to do a lot this season. But come Sunday, I believe the Seahawks will do whatever they can to ensure Kenneth Walker isn’t the guy who beats them.

Talk about a guy who needs a bounce-back game; look no further than AJ Brown. I know there was some rust to shake off, but man, that was a brutal first game from injury. The good news is it can’t really get much worse, which is exactly what I’m banking on with this bet.

Romeo Doubs was just placed on IR, leaving the Patriots pretty thin at receiver outside of Brown himself. Drake Maye has shown he’s still going to air the ball out, and I expect he still trusts Brown to get it together. This connection has yet to truly get going, but I think this can be the week it gets started.

Brown though, is out of excuses now. He’s shaken the rust off and should be familiar with this offense now. The team, and most importantly Drake May need him to be the elite receiver they traded for. If they do that, they’ve got a good shot at winning this game

This is the one bet that right now seems too good to be true. D’Andre Swift has gone over this number in back-to-back weeks, hauling in eight receptions over those two weeks. Part of that was because Kyle Monangai was hurt, who is expected to return this week. But I think Swift has shown he’s the main option on passing downs.

Even with Monangai taking some of Swfits workload as it relates to carries. I don’t think it will affect the production Swift has had as a pass catcher. Caleb Williams likes getting him the ball and will likely continue that trend against the Patriots.
