CHAMPAIGN – The Paxton-Buckley-Loda Junior High School baseball team won 9-1 over Danville North Ridge in the IESA Class 3A regional semifinals on Saturday. Dawson Bice hit 2-for-4 with two runs scored while Tomasi Suaava tripled and had an RBI while scoring two runs. Lucas Niewold doubled and had two RBIs while Mason Duley and Timber Withers each had an RBI and, along with Withers, Brayden Smith also scored two runs.
