Manchester City's perfect start to the Premier League season has been undone by back-to-back defeats to Aston Villa and Brighton and they will be keen to return to winning ways at Leipzig in the Champions League.
However, Leipzig have been a formidable force on their own patch and may feel that this is the ideal time to be welcoming the Citizens to the Red Bull Arena.

Manchester City's only clean sheet in their last eight games came away at ten-man Liverpool and they may not have things all their own way in Germany.
Leipzig's Norway international has had nine shots on target in eight Bundesliga appearances this season, scoring four goals, and should give City plenty to think about.
Banzuzi has committed 22 fouls in ten outings this season and will be involved in a midfield battle with Elliot Anderson, who is a master at winning free-kicks from the opposition.

Leipzig manager Martin Demichelis spent three seasons at Manchester City during his playing days and was a member of the Citizens’ Premier League-winning squad in 2013-14.
Demichelis has had a mixed start to his Leipzig tenure since replacing Ole Werner in the summer but there are signs that his side may be starting to click and this could be a good time to face his former employers.
Pressure was beginning to build on Demichelis after some heavy away defeats, which included a 6-1 hammering at Bayern and 4-1 hidings in the Champions League at Como and Real Madrid.
But Leipzig claimed their first away win in the Bundesliga at Schalke on Sunday and have been a different beast at the Red Bull Arena, where they are a perfect five from five.
Leipzig are yet to concede a goal on their own patch, where a 6-0 rout of Eintracht Frankfurt was a particular high, and they may feel they should have won more convincingly than just 1-0 in their opening home game of the Champions League against PSV.
Having signed off last season with five straight home wins, Leipzig are chasing their 11th consecutive success in front of their fans and City are not firing on all cylinders.
Things were looking rosy for Enzo Maresca’s men as they won their opening seven league games to stamp their authority on the Premier League but they may have lost the spring in their step.
It may be just a coincidence, but City have won only two of their last six matches since being found guilty of all charges relating to breaches of the Premier League's financial rules and have that hanging over them.
Home wins over Ipswich and AEK Athens would have been expected but they conceded against both and have since lost their last two league games against Aston Villa and Brighton.
City fired a rare blank in Saturday’s 1-0 loss at home to the Seagulls, which came only three days on from their penalty shootout win against them in the EFL Cup, and they were exploited defensively in a 4-2 defeat by Paris St-Germain at the Etihad on matchday two.
Maresca may opt to make changes as they bid to get back on track in the Premier League at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday and Leipzig have plenty of players capable of making it tough for them.
It would be no surprise if City prove too strong but at odds-on it takes a leap of faith given their recent setbacks and Leipzig, having conceded only twice in their last nine at home, could offer stiff resistance.
Leipzig’s midfield battler Ezechiel Banzuzi has been carded only once this season but that came in the Champions League defeat at Como and his foul count suggests that he has been extremely fortunate.
Banzuzi has committed 18 fouls in eight Bundesliga appearances while he committed three fouls in the 1-0 win at home to PSV in the Champions League.
Elliot Anderson has been fouled 28 times in nine Premier League appearances this season, the most of any player, and that could spell trouble for Banzuzi.
♦ Leipzig have won their last ten home games♦ Manchester City without a win in three matches♦ Both teams have scored in five of the six meetings between these sides♦ City have conceded in each of their last six fixtures
