The Golden State Valkyries are on the verge of winning their first WNBA Championship trophy in franchise history, and famous rapper Flavor Flav is calling on Bay Area residents to take action.

With Game 6 set to take place at 12:30 p.m. PT on Thursday, Flavor Flav posted an absence form for a “paid holiday” and to excuse workers from their jobs so that they watch the game.

“Thursday is a paid holiday. Because Flavor Flav said,” he wrote in his caption.

The beginning of the form reads, “Please excuse,” with a blank line for fans to sign their name, “from work for the entire day on Thursday, You know what time it is!”

The excuse form goes on to read, “There is a very important WNBA Women’s Finals game between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries, tipping off at 12:30 PM EST.”

Flav went on to question fans’ loyalties to women’s sports by writing, “EVERYBODY WATCHES WOMEN’S SPORTS! You support women’s sports, RIGHT?!”

The Form ends with Flavor Flav signing off and reading, “The World’s Greatest Hype Man. Official Supporter of Women’s Sports.”

Flavor Flav’s unofficial sick note comes after Valkyries’ Veronica Burton told fans to call in sick after their Game 5 victory.

“Call in sick. I recommend it,” she said at the post-game presser.

VB: “Call in sick. I recommend it.”

Kiah: "Yeah, y’all know how to fake a cough.”

Veronica and Kiah’s message to Valks fans for Thursday’s 9:30 a.m. tipoff 😂👏

Flavor Flav is just one of the many celebrities that have been enjoying the WNBA Finals, as Bay Area native Zendaya, known for her role as MJ in the “Spider-Man” movie series, was spotted at Monday’s game, supporting the Valkyries.

Zendaya was the lucky charm for Golden State, as the Valkyries pulled away with a 64-55 victory to give them a 3-2 series lead, leaving Ballhalla booming.

While the Valkyries are only in their second season in the WNBA, their early success has been tied to Natalie Nakase’s coaching.

If Golden State does win the title on Thursday, the celebration will have to take place on the Dream’s practice court due to the Atlanta Hawks having to play against the Cleveland Cavaliers at 8 p.m. EST.
